We’ve all seen it. You’re in line at the grocery store and someone’s child is having a meltdown right there in the aisle. The howls, the tears, the frazzled parent just trying to pick up food for dinner. We’ve all thought to ourselves “Whoa, glad that isn’t me!” Some of us add “At least not this time…”
Public tantrums are practically a rite of passage for many parents. It’s exasperating, frustrating, and completely typical. If this has happened to you or to parents you know, then you also know that it’s a struggle to know how best to handle this situation.
Fortunately, help is coming.
