The Youth Math Festival for children in grades K-8 will be free of charge. The kids will solve problem and puzzles, play games, build various shapes, do experiments and try many hands-on-activities.
We invite all young students, who like math and share a passion for games, problem solving, and hands-on math activities, to come to the second Eugene Youth Math Festival. With the generous support from the U of O Department of Mathematics and from the National Science Foundation we are able to offer free admission without prior registration. Simply come and explore!
Please note, parents are required to accompany our youngest participants (grades K- 3). All other parents are encouraged to stay. All parents should be ready to pick up their children when they are done with the activities. We are unable to watch the children outside of the math stations.
