In the first few weeks of May, visit a batch of incubating eggs at the Downtown Library and suggest names for the upcoming chicks.
Chicks are expected to start hatching around the 3rd week of May. Once they begin hatching, the chicks will stay for a few days. For a heads-up when the time comes, follow the Library’s Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
This activity is presented in partnership by Eugene Public Library, Oregon State University Extension Service of Lane County, and Lane County 4-H.
